Expecting a Hotter Summer: How the Heat Could Affect Miami Real Estate
As the National Weather Service’s Climate Prediction Center reports, this summer is expected to be hotter than usual, with a 50% chance that much of Florida will experience extreme heat. In Miami, we’re no strangers to high temperatures, but this year’s forecast is a bit more intense. Typically, our summer temperatures reach an average high of 89°F and a low of 76°F. However, predictions for July and August indicate that the heat index will frequently exceed 100°F, making this summer feel even hotter. While we’re all familiar with Miami’s hot, humid summer days, this forecast has implications for both residents and homeowners looking to buy or sell in the Miami real estate market.
